“Calabria is a relatively less-well developed region of sun-soaked southern Italy – which in recent times, has gained rightly-deserved attention for its fine wines of quality and which excite the palate! We were fortunate to have been on a special visit entitled “Calabria – Land, Sea and Food of the Gods” organised by the Italian Chamber of Commerce, and what we found there certainly lived up to this reputation! We are excited with our wine discoveries in Calabria and want to share them with wine-lovers! 18:00 Welcome Drink – an aperitif
18:50 Guided Mini-Wine tasting of at least 7 wines from Calabria, with illustrated talk by Gordon Stuteley CEO GS Wines

- Nesci Meet Palizzi IGP 14.5% Rosso Nocera/Nerello blend
- Oppedisano Ciro Rosato 2018 DOP 13% Gaglioppo
- Oppedisano Ciro Bianco 2018 DOP 12.5% Greco Bianco
- Cataldo Rosso 2018 DOP 14.5% Gaglioppo, Calabrese, Nerello blend
- Tenute Gagliardi Biancamusa 2018 IGP 12.5% Mantonico bianco blend
- Zagarella Alfierinero Calabria 2017 IGP 14% Rosso Malvasia Nera
