“We were responsible for the popular Patisserie Valerie chain of cafés, and from this grew our desire for a challenge to create a restaurant that draws together Italian flavours, a home from home dining experience and great service.
Growing up in a typical Italian family gives us passion for everything we do. It’s not just the quality of our dishes but true Italian ospitalità that makes the difference.
Head Chef Andrea Betto from illustrious Rome has been with Sicily from the beginning. Andrea takes inspiration from all things Mediterranean, from stone-baked pizza and pasta with traditional recipe sauces to fresh fish and meat dishes.
We source fruit and vegetables from Covent Garden, meat from Smithfield and fish, of course, from Billingsgate, and our ‘Chef’s Specials’ are devised from seasonal availability.
Sicily can seat 136 people across four different dining areas. Unwind in the main dining areas over two floors where you can appreciate a changing collection of contemporary art as well as sculptures and bronzes from Enzo’s private collection, or indulge in people-watching from our covered outdoor terrace.
Alternatively, take a table close to the bar to soak up the bubbly atmosphere of passers-by dropping in for a drink or our regular live music events – if you’re looking for live jazz in London, Sicily is the place for you. We love family so bring the children – high chairs are available. With ground floor facilities and accessible doorways, we are delighted to welcome wheelchair users to our restaurant.
Roberto, Vittorio and Enzo look forward to welcoming amici old and new to dine at a friendly Italian restaurant with a London twist.
